Our Year 6 pupils attended the Climate Change Conference on 20th November. Lead Inspector for History and Geography (Gabrielle Reddington), and Richard Hurst,(the event organiser),praised the trio for the workshop that they presented.
KS2 pupils are involved in a Citizen Science Project titled “What’s under your feet”. It is studying whether climate change is affecting the decline of birds and their ability to obtain food.

On the 15th October the school had the opportunity to create with clay.
Pupils were visited by a local potter, Jane Kane, who taught them how to work with clay.
Our School Newsletter is uploaded every week to our website in PDF colour format. Newsletters are also placed in the green folders that are issued to the oldest family member only, normally on a Friday. Northumbrian Water visited the school on the 7th October to put on a show regarding water. Please see the photographs in the School Events Section.
